The Forest

Thirty-seven miles south of Paris lies the vast forest of Fontainebleau, famed for its sandstone rocks and regarded as one of the best bouldering destinations in the world.

Each morning, my first job is to take our dog Stefan on a lap of our tiny village, nestled between farmland and forest. On days where the sun is rising into a clear sky or when daylight is held back by a chill mist, I venture into the trees.

These are random encounters with sunlight, forest and fog. I have a batch of beautiful 9×12″ prints available for just £34 / $45 / €37. Shipping is global. Just click and be sure to add a border. Enjoy.
